The 10th Annual Ladies Driving Challenge took place on 10th June 2007 at Bentwaters Park, Rendlesham, Woodbridge.
13 Ladies undertook this challenge and drove different types of vehicles such as HGV lorries, Sports Cars, Quad Bikes, 4x4, Tractors, Diggers etc.
Just waiting to collect all the sponsorship money in but it is anticipated that the group made around £900, so may I say a big thank you to all participants.

A huge Thank You goes to Lucie who organised a 6th Form leavers ball on 11th May and very kindly donated £720 to Papworth.
WEDNESDAY 15th NOVEMBER 2006
At the Great White Horse Hotel, Ipswich
Thank you to all those stall holders who offered an evening of indulgence with taster sessions such as indian head massage, Shiatsu, spiritual healer, readings, herbal medicine, organic facials, make-up and christmas goods such as Virgin Vie products, handmade cards, teddies, handbags, jewellery and much more.
Thank you also to all those who attended and purchased raffle tickets. The total raised on the evening was £400.00.
SATURDAY 23RD SEPTEMBER 2006
World Heart Day charity collection at Ipswich Town Football club for their home game against Sunderland.
Many thanks to Deben Rotaract and to volunteers who gave their time also to all of those football supporters who gave money to support this worthwhile cause.
The total amount raised on the day was an astounding £735.

SATURDAY 26TH AUGUST 2006
Three people I had never met before very bravely volunteered to do a 150 foot bungee jump from a crane in Colchester.
Massive thanks go to Dennis who raised the most any individual has raised during any of the Have A Heart 2006 fundraising events, Dennis managed to raise an amazing £877.26 in sponsorship.
Thanks also to Richard and Josh for being such great sports bringing the total of this event up to £981.05

A team of 12 volunteers undertook the challenge of an English Channel Sponsored Swim. The 22 mile relay swim (1760 lengths) was held in an outdoor swimming pool and was completed in 4 hours 45 minutes.
Huge thanks goes to Next Generation Club in Ipswich who donated the use of their swimming pool for the day.
Sponsor money has now been collected and the team made an amazing £1006.64
A HUGE thank you goes to all the swimmers for volunteering their time and all beating their own personal distance challenges.

SUNDAY 16th JULY 2006
Ten people very bravely volunteered to abseil 150 feet down the Maternity Block at Ipswich Hospital for sponsorship, all proceeds raised will be added to the Papworth fund for arrhythmia research.
A total figure of money raised will be available once all sponsorship is collected but is estimated to be somewhere in the region of £1500.
A big THANK YOU goes to all the participants and for those who generously gave sponsor money.

THE ROBBIE WILLIAMS SHOW included Robbie’s greatest hits such as “Let Me Entertain You”, “Rock DJ”, “Angels”, “Feel”, “Millennium”, "Radio", "Trippin" even Take That - a fantastic medley of “Pray, Everything Changes and Relight My Fire”and many more.

LADIES DRIVING CHALLENGE
SUNDAY 11th JUNE 2006
As the sun shone, ten ladies undertook a sponsored driving challenge at Ex-RAF Bentwaters.
Our team drove: TA Vehicles, HGV Lorries, Sports Cars, land rovers, tractors, JCB's, coaches, Quad Bikes, Golf Buggies, Mini Diggers, and took a drive in a fire engine and a stretch limo.
A fabulous day was had by all and we wish to thanks MEGA for a well organised, fun event.
The total raised in sponsorship was £922.03, many thanks to all those ladies who took part and to those that sponsored the participants.

May I say a big thank you to all my friends who turned up at the Curve Bar to support this event. Despite all your help to publicise this event numbers were small, but that didn't take away the fun evening that was enjoyed by everyone. You made the evening entertaining by acting like skool kids, complete with skool uniforms and raided the tuk shop like sweets and accessories were all the rage!

CHARITY CAR WASH DAY
THURSDAY 11th MAY 2006
On a very sunny day with an early morning start Ben had a bucket of soapy water fest and managed to wash an outstanding 20 cars in one day with £131.12 donated by the grateful car owners and also from several onlookers and was topped up to £150 by Ben.
Huge thanks go to Ben for organising and undertaking this Charity Car Wash Challenge, thank you to all those who donated and to the organisation for giving permission for the event to take place.
SALSA FEVER
SATURDAY 29TH APRIL 2006
An evening of latin fever with DJ D, Susanita and Russ - a BIG thank you goes to Russ for all his hard work in preperation for this event and to DJ D and Susanita who gave their time to provide the music for this event.
Thank you also to all of you who came to the Salsa Fever event at the Curve bar. The first event for HaveAHeart2006 was attended by regular Salsa go-ers as well as a number of people who have never tried Salsa before but who enjoyed the atmosphere and are keen to now take classes.
